Welcome to the Costa Rican rainforest! Tours typically run rain or shine. Many activities are under shelter or can be adapted. We have covered areas for important parts like dining and workshops. Just bring a light rain jacket or poncho, and embrace the lush surroundings!

The need for a 4×4 vehicle to reach Finca El Tuete depends on the time of year you visit, due to Costa Rica’s distinct seasons.

During Costa Rica’s Dry Season (roughly December to April), a 4×4 is generally not required. Our access involves [describe briefly, e.g., ‘unpaved sections’ or ‘typical rural Costa Rican roads’], but it’s usually manageable with a standard rental car during this drier period.

However, during the Rainy/Green Season (roughly May to November), the road conditions become more challenging due to potential rain and mud. For reliable and safe access during these months, a 4×4 vehicle is necessary. That being said, if you’re an off-road enthusiast, you might find the drive a fun adventure at this time of year!

Important Note on Route: There are two main routes to reach us. We strongly recommend using the entrance via Santa Eulalia or Linda Vista for the best road conditions. Please contact us (write or call), and we’ll gladly help with specific directions or if you need assistance.
